When should I visit an osteopath?

Osteopathic treatment can be helpful for all kinds of problems. From an osteopathic point of view, physical symptoms occur as a result of a decompensation of the system. Objective of the treatment is always to enable the body to regulate itself and find an equilibrium in the absence of any symptoms. If you should be uncertain, if osteopathic therapy can help in your individual case, feel free to contact us

Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Yes, in order to avoid long waiting periods we only work with scheduled appointments. You can comfortably book an appointment online or write us a message and we will give you a call. In case of acute problems we always try to find a date as soon as possible.

How long does one session last?

The duration of the treatment is approximately 45-60 minutes for the first session, and 30-45 minutes for the following sessions.

How many sessions will be necessary?

We cannot answer this question generally. After 1-3 sessions first results should be visible. Chronic problems usually have to be treated over a longer period of time than acute ones.

What do I have to keep in mind before my first appointment?

Please send us our questionnaire with your details before your first session (preferably per eMail). If you already should have any medical reports, please feel free to bring them.

How much does the treatment cost?

The cost of the treatment depends on the time and effort of the therapy. The liquidation is in accordance with the tariff of fees for Heilpraktiker (GebüH).

Does my insurance provider cover the costs?

This depends on your insurance provider. Standard health insurance providers (GKV) may cover up to 80% of the costs (you can find an overview here). Private insurance providers (PKV) usually reimburse you for the costs of the therapy. We however recommend to check if your individual plan covers the osteopathic treatment by a Heilpraktiker prior to your first session.
